Board Members
New Britain EMS, Inc. is governed by a voluntary board of directors. Members of the Board are residents, business and health care professionals as well as Mayoral recommended appointees from the City of New Britain. The Board provides oversight of all organizational activities including corporate strategy, finance, quality, customer satisfaction, and risk in collaboration with the executive management team.

Medical Directors
New Britain EMS, Inc has two medical directors who provide medical control oversight for both the Operations Division and the New Britain EMS Academy. The medical director role is to provide clinical authorization and oversight to practice for EMTs and paramedics as well as provide input and approve all educational curriculum. The positions are held by Dr. David Buono and Dr. Michelle McDade of The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
